-Notes: This extraordinary trauma skull was found exposed by road equipment on a ranch in Chama, New Mexico. The skeleton was destroyed, but the skull and artifact remained in place and intact. The ax head is consistent with material culture of 16-17th century Spain. Association indicates that this burial site was not an intentional Christian burial, but rather a chance preservation in a remote area. Cranial traits are consistent with European heritage. 2-part skull (separate cranium & jaw). Please allow up to 1 week for processing time with cast replicas as most of these items are made to order.
