 -Tooth size: 1&3/4" long. Shark teeth are measured from the tip to the end of the longest root.

 -Species: Hemipristis serra   

 (“Serrated Half Saw")

 -Notes: This tooth has the very distinct serrations that this species is known for. Though the species H. serra is extinct, the genus Hemipristis still survives today. Comes displayed in a glass-covered display box (5&1/2"L x 4&1/2"W x 7/8"H). Acrylic stand, not included.

 -Age: Miocene Epoch, 19-14 million years ago
