-Species: undetermined (possible genera include Platecarpus, Plesioplatecarpus, Clidastes, Eonatator, Tylosaurus)

("Meuse Lizard" - named for the Meuse River of the Netherlands, of which the first known fossils of a mosasaur were found close to).
 
-Notes: A nice example of a section of jaw from one of the world's most highly adapted ocean predators. Made even more famous now through the Jurassic World film series. Acrylic stand not included.
 
-Age: Cretaceous Period, 90-84 million years ago
 
-Location: Niobrara Formation, Smoky Hill Chalk Member, Kansas, USA
