Megatooth Shark tooth 1&7/8" - Otodus obliquus (gigantic shark)

 -Tooth size: 1&7/8" long. Shark teeth are measured from the tip to the end of the longest root.

 -Species: Otodus obliquus 

 (“Oblique Lobed Tooth" - in reference to the small cusps that appear at either side of the tooth.)

 -Notes: This tooth has incredible snowflake-like dendritic patterns. Otodus is thought to be the ancestor of C. megalodon. Comes displayed in a glass-covered display box (5&1/2"L x 4&1/2"W x 7/8"H). Acrylic stand, not included.

 -Age: Paleocene-Eocene Epochs, 60-48 million years ago 

 -Location: Oulad Abdoun Basin – Khouribga, Morocco
