-Species: Coccyzus americanus

-Notes: The yellow-billed cuckoo, found throughout North and South America, is often seen near lakes and streams in woodland areas. This medium-sized bird is generally solitary, but pairs up during breeding season. Both male and female take part in parenting, building the nest together, incubating the eggs, and feeding the hatchlings. The feet of the cuckoo are zygodactylous, which means that two toes face forward and two face backward. They feed on insects, including caterpillars, grasshoppers and crickets and are preyed upon by raptors and snakes. 1-part skull (jaw glued to cranium).
